Dermal Filler
Hyaluronic acid fillers are a very popular choice for reducing the appearance of facial
lines that result from aging. The fillers used are made from hyaluronic acid, which is
a substance found naturally in the body’s connective tissues. Once injected, they
have the ability to plump facial skin that has lost volume or elasticity throughout the
aging process. It fill’s the wrinkles from the inside, making the skin appear younger
and rejuvenated. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to create contours and add volume,
maintain or restore hydration and even help to stimulate new collagen growth.

BRUISING & SWELLING
Bruising & swelling is one of the most common complications with fillers especially with lips. Bruising
occurs when larger blood vessels are punctured by the needle being used to inject the fillers into the lips.
Some degree of bruising should always be expected along with swelling which is completely normal.
You may also notice some redness or bruising at the injection sites, which is normal.
How long do lips bruise for?
Depending on your body's natural tendency to bruise, it can take as long as two weeks after the treatment
for the bruising to completely subside.
How long do lips swell for?
Immediately after having lip injections there will be some degree of swelling which is very normal. It can also leave the lips looking a little fake or even lumpy, but once the swelling subsides (usually within a few days) you will begin to see how your
new lips will look.
